Enaon EDA: New Consumer Services Office in the heart of Athens

The opening of the office was officially announced today

 

Enaon EDA, the Hellenic Gas Distribution Company, a subsidiary of Enaon of Italgas Group, today inaugurated its new Customer Service Office in Athens, confirming the company’s commitment to expand its natural gas distribution network and digitalize its services for the benefit of consumers.

The opening of the new office was announced by Ms. Francesca Zanninotti, CEO of Enaon EDA, in the presence of Enaon CEO Mrs Barbara Morgante, and with the attendance of Institutional representatives and local authorities as well as executives and employees of the companies.

Ms. Barbara Morgante, noted that the office is located in a welcoming environment in a central area of Athens that is accessible to most citizens. This targeted selection by the company is fully in line with its strategy to create sustainable value for society, citizens and the Enaon Group employees. Also, she expressed her sincere thanks to the team that coordinated the work to get the Customer Service Office ready in a short period of time.

Ms Francesca Zanninotti, CEO of the subsidiary Enaon EDA underlined during her speech: “With the new Consumer Service Office in Athens, we are confirming our commitment to the direct distribution of natural gas to more areas in Attica and throughout Greece, as well as our readiness to accept renewable gases such as biomethane and, in the future, hydrogen. It is very important for us to be next to the residents of Attica who wish to be connected to the natural gas distribution network, providing customized, high quality services aimed at ensuring the best possible support to consumers. Leveraging the know-how and good practices of the parent group Italgas, we have set a goal for the new Customer Service Office in Athens to implement, in the coming months, an innovative program of digital transformation of services that will offer consumers a modern, faster and more efficient digital experience. This new program will include digital services through all stages of the network connection process: from the initial application submitted by the consumer to the activation of the connection.”

The new Customer Service Office, located at 109-111 Messogeion Avenue & Rousou, is open daily from 8.30am to 2.30pm and offers services to existing and new consumers, as well as professionals such as engineers and installers, to facilitate the process of connecting to the grid.

The Hellenic Gas Distribution Company Enaon EDA, as the sole Operator of the Natural Gas Distribution Network in the Enaon group (after the merger of the former companies DEDA, EDA Attiki and EDA Thess), today, is developing the natural gas network over a vast geographical area in the Greek territory, managing around 8,200 km of network in nine regions of the country, with more than 600,000 active delivery points.

According to the company’s planning, the goal is to make more than 83,000 new connections in Attica over the next five years, with innovative and powerful energy infrastructure that promotes social welfare and is driven by respect for the environment.
