In the context of carrying out the activities of the Operator’s Basic Activity, DEDA operates as follows:
Providing access to use the Distribution Network to the Distribution Users, with objective and impartial criteria, without jeopardizing the smooth and safe operation of the Distribution Network, in accordance with the specific provisions of the Code and the relevant legislation.
Development (design and construction) of the Distribution Network.
Inspection, maintenance, replacement and upgrade of the Distribution Network.
Management of the Distribution Network, with transparent, objective and non-discriminatory access to all Distribution Users.
Ensuring the security of the Distribution Network, management and immediate response to emergency situations, crisis management.
Validation of studies of Internal Installations and conducting autopsy in new buildings.
Validation of Internal Installations studies, inspection of Internal Installations for the issuance of the Internal Installation License as provided for in the technical regulations of internal installations, as in force.
Sample checks at Internal Installations that has been over four (4) years since the first activation of the Internal Installation.
Supply, installation and maintenance of pressure metering and regulation stations that are not intended for the supply of the End Customer.
Promotion of the use of Natural Gas through market methods for the development of the Distribution Network and the connection of new End Customers to the Distribution Network.
Development and operation of easy-to-use and secure information systems, for the execution of the Operator’s activities.
Management of procedures for switching of the Distribution User at a Delivery Point.
Collection, transmission and storage of data of remote check and remote control systems of Distribution Network infrastructure.
Installation, maintenance and calibration of metering systems and checking the smooth operation of volume correctors installed at Delivery Points.
Installation of decompression stations of Natural Gas, as well as installation of temporary storage of Compressed Natural Gas cylinders to ensure the uninterrupted supply of Natural Gas.
Purchase of a quantity of Natural Gas for the filling of a new section of the Distribution Network (Filling Gas) or for an existing section, if for maintenance reasons its partial venting was required.
Odorization of Natural Gas.
Cathodic protection.
Operation of an emergency call service on a 24-hour basis.
Management and communication with Distribution Users, End Customers and third parties for the correct, smooth and efficient provision of services, including physical service points.
Control and quality assurance of materials related to the construction of the Distribution Network.
