Gas Distribution

Enaon, an ITALGAS Group company, is active in the field of natural gas distribution in Greece.

As the sole owner of the Distribution Network Operator, Enaon EDA (which today is the result of the merger of the pre-existing companies DEDA, EDA Thess and EDA Attikis) develops the gas network across a vast geographical expanse in the Greek territory, managing approximately 9.080 kilometers of network and 650.000 active delivery points.

The Distribution Network Operation Code (OGG Β’4135/30.7.2025) regulates the rights and obligations of the Distribution Network Operator, the Users of the Distribution Network, the End Customers and the Biomethane Producers connected to the Distribution Network and issues related to the management, maintenance, development, operation of the Distribution Network, as well as the terms and conditions of access of the Distribution Users to the Distribution Network and to the services provided by the Network Operator.

According to the specific terms and conditions of the Code, Enaon EDA provides Distribution Users and End Customers and Biomethane Producers, the following Distribution Services (Basic Activity) in the most economical, transparent and direct way, without discrimination between Distribution Users, Biomethane Producers or End Customers:

• Receipt from the Operator of Natural Gas quantities at the Distribution Network Entry Points.
• Receipt from the Operator of Natural Gas quantities at the Biomethane Entry Points.
• Distribution of Natural Gas quantities through the Distribution Network.
• Delivery of Natural Gas quantities by the Operator to the Delivery Points.
• Ensuring the smooth, safe, reliable and uninterrupted technical operation of the Distribution Network, and monitoring through control systems.
• Measurement of the Natural Gas quantity delivered to the Delivery Points.
• Control of Natural Gas quality, measurement and regulation of Natural Gas injection flow, addition of odorant and teletransmission of data for the gas received at the Biomethane Entry Points.

The sole shareholder of the Company is the company under the corporate name “Italgas Newco società per azioni”, with distinctive title: Italgas NewCo S.p.A., registered office in Milan, Carlo Bo, 11 street, – 20143, with Italian companies’ registry number: 11308670964 and tax identification number: 11308670964.
